Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead modernization of mainframe applications and guide cloud transformation for global clients. You'll design architecture solutions using Rocket Software and Micro Focus platforms to support ambitious transformation programs.

Lead migration roadmaps, set standards for COBOL/CICS/JCL/DB2, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure architectures across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise architecture, application modernization, and Micro Focus Enterprise Suite or Rocket Software solutions.
• Strong expertise in mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2, batch processing, and integration with distributed platforms.
• Proven experience in designing modernization strategies, migration roadmaps, re-hosting, re-platforming, and cloud transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and solution architects to create scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture governance, risk assessment, and strategic recommendations for application modernization, cloud adoption, and platform optimization programs.

• Strong expertise in mainframe technologies including COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM, DB2, batch processing, and integration with distributed platforms.
• Proven experience in designing modernization strategies, migration roadmaps, re-hosting, re-platforming, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration frameworks, security architecture, DevOps practices, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to drive architecture decisions across large-scale enterprise programs.
