Job summary

Capgemini in Navi Mumbai seeks an experienced professional to administer, monitor, and maintain Micro Focus Enterprise Server and Rocket Software environments to ensure high availability and performance of critical business applications.

You will support mainframe modernization deployments, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, and batch workloads, while collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams across borders to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Micro Focus Enterprise Server, Enterprise Developer, or Rocket Software administration.
• Strong understanding of mainframe modernization technologies including COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, batch processing.
• Experience with Windows/Linux server administration, monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, release management, version control, and enterprise deployment processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in cross-functional and global support environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and maintain Micro Focus Enterprise Server and Rocket Software environments to ensure high availability, performance, and stability of business-critical applications.
• Support deployment, configuration, and management of mainframe modernization solutions, including COBOL, JCL, CICS, and batch processing workloads.
• Perform system upgrades, patch management, environment setup, and configuration changes per organizational standards and security requirements.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and middleware issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide timely resolution to minimize business impact.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to support application migrations, releases, and operational excellence initiatives.
