Role Description

The MICE Sales and Operations Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhopal. This position is responsible for generating and managing corporate MICE business, including prospecting new clients, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts for meetings, conferences, incentive tours, and events. The role involves coordinating with vendors and partners for travel, accommodation, venues, logistics, and entertainment, ensuring all services align with client expectations and budget. The executive will oversee end-to-end event operations, manage timelines, handle on-ground coordination, and address client queries before, during, and after events. Daily tasks also include maintaining accurate documentation, tracking costs, preparing reports, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and profitable events.

Qualifications

• Experience in MICE sales, corporate travel, or event management, with strong ability to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and close deals.
• Operational expertise in coordinating travel, accommodation, venues, logistics, and vendor management for domestic and international events.
• Strong client relationship, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to understand corporate requirements and offer tailored solutions.
• Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple projects, tight timelines, and on-ground challenges.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic CRM or event management software; comfort working with budgets and reports.
• Prior experience in hospitality, tourism, or travel industry is preferred; knowledge of popular MICE destinations and current market trends is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Tourism Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and event execution as required, with flexibility to work extended hours during peak event periods.
