Role:
Manager - Groups & MICE: 2+ Years of Experience Required in Travel Industry. This candidate will be taking care of groups of tourism that plan, book and organize travels and other events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional organizational skills, and pays meticulous attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Promptly respond to Groups and MICE inquiries via various communication channels, demonstrating exemplary customer service.
- Customize proposals and event plans tailored to the unique preferences and objectives of each client for Travel.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and destination experts, to seamlessly execute events.
- Manage logistical arrangements such as transportation, accommodation, dining, venue selection, audiovisual requirements, and entertainment options.
- Maintain oversight of group room allocations, ensuring accurate rooming lists and seamless coordination with accommodation partners.
- Develop and manage comprehensive event budgets, tracking expenditures and adhering to financial parameters.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients throughout the planning process of Travel, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries or requests promptly.
- Conduct site inspections and participate in client meetings, offering expert guidance and insights.
- Provide on-site event management support, overseeing setup, registration, and addressing any emergent issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Evaluate event success and gather feedback from clients to continuously enhance service delivery.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in group and MICE management, integrating innovative ideas into our offerings.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Event Planning, or a related field.
- Prior experience in group sales, event planning, or hospitality management within the travel industry is mandatory
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proven organizational prowess, adept at managing multiple tasks concurrently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Travel management software.
- Flexibility to accommodate irregular working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with local attractions, venues, and suppliers is desirable.
- Certification in event planning or hospitality management is a plus.
