Job summary

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy or Materials Science or related field.
• Relevant experience in Metallography, Metallurgical Testing and RLA or related lab activities.
• Experience in technical report preparation and review.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Metallography Department operations and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Review metallographic examinations and ensure compliance with laboratory quality requirements.
• Prepare, compile and review Advanced Metallography technical reports.
• Coordinate with laboratory teams for timely collection and integration of test results.
• Prepare Boiler Remaining Life Assessment (RLA) reports related to destructive testing.
• Document metallurgical observations, damage assessments and condition evaluation findings.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of technical reports before release.
