Job summary

Stovekraft in Bengaluru, a cookware/manufacturing company, seeks an Assistant Manager – Exports with 6–7 years of export merchandising experience to manage international accounts, drive NPD, and ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with design, engineering, sourcing, planning, production, quality, and logistics to deliver competitive exports and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, Commerce or related discipline.
• Export management or supply chain certification is a plus.
• 6–7 years of export merchandising experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage international customer accounts from enquiry to shipment.
• Lead NPD activities by coordinating with customers, design, engineering, sourcing and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare product costings, commercial proposals, and support price negotiations.
• Develop and monitor Time & Action (T&A) plans to ensure milestones are met.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, production, quality, packaging and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor production progress, material availability, and resolve bottlenecks affecting delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, testing requirements, and export documentation.
• Manage sampling, product approvals, engineering changes, and customer communication.
• Analyze customer requirements and work with internal teams to deliver competitive solutions.
• Prepare business updates, order status reports, and dashboards for management and customers.
• Drive continuous improvement in merchandising processes and customer service.
• Identify new opportunities within existing customer accounts.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting demanding timelines.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate Assistant Manager – Export with 6–7 years of experience in export merchandising within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling international customers, managing new product development (NPD), order execution, commercial costing, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

The role requires excellent communication, commercial acumen, planning skills, and the ability to drive projects from concept to shipment while working closely with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• 6–7 years of experience in export merchandising within a cookware, kitchenware, homeware, consumer durables, or similar manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience handling international customers across the USA, Europe, and other global markets.
• Strong knowledge of product development, export documentation, production planning, quality systems, and order execution.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment with cross-functional teams.
