Job summary

A & N Holding in India seeks an experienced garment merchandising professional to handle buyer orders from development through final shipment, coordinating styles, specifications, prices, approvals, and delivery schedules.

The role requires strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, production processes, and Excel/Word; you will manage sampling, costings, supplier follow-ups, and ensure compliance with buyer standards while keeping meticulous records.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Fashion/Apparel, Textile, Merchandising, or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in garment merchandising will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garments, construction, and production processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Handle buyer orders from development stage through final shipment.
• Communicate with buyers regarding styles, specifications, prices, approvals, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate sampling, fabric, trims, accessories, and other requirements.
• Prepare and maintain order sheets, T&A calendars, and production follow-up reports.
• Follow up with fabric and trims suppliers to ensure timely availability.
• Coordinate with production, cutting, finishing, and packing departments.
• Monitor production progress and ensure delivery schedules are achieved.
• Check and follow up on sample approvals, lab dips, strike-offs, and size sets.
• Coordinate with the quality team to meet buyer specifications and standards.
• Prepare costing and support price negotiations when required.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, approvals, specifications, and shipment details.
• Identify production or delivery issues and coordinate timely resolution.
• Coordinate with commercial and logistics teams for shipment documentation and dispatch.
• Ensure all buyer requirements and compliance standards are followed.
• Provide regular order status updates to management and buyers.
