Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser with strong exposure to high-fashion garment exports. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete merchandising cycle from product development and sampling to production, shipment and buyer coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete merchandising process from buyer inquiry to final shipment.
• Coordinate with international buyers regarding styles, specifications, pricing, sampling and order requirements.
• Handle product development, sampling, costing and approvals.
• Coordinate with design, production, sourcing, quality and factory teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories and production timelines.
• Review tech packs, measurements, specifications and buyer comments and ensure accurate execution.
• Monitor sample development, fit approvals, PP samples and size sets.
• Prepare and maintain T&A (Time & Action) plans and ensure timely order execution.
• Coordinate with factories/vendors regarding production status and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Ensure products meet buyer requirements regarding quality, workmanship, measurements and delivery schedules.
• Manage multiple orders and styles simultaneously while maintaining timelines.
• Maintain regular communication with buyers and provide updates on order progress.
• Coordinate with QC teams to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Follow up on shipment planning, documentation and final dispatch.
• Handle buyer complaints, changes and production-related issues professionally.
• Maintain proper merchandising records, reports and order documentation.

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably with a high-fashion garment export house.
• Strong experience in international buyer handling and export merchandising.
• Good understanding of fashion garments, fabrics, trims, construction and production processes.
• Experience in handling the complete order cycle from development to shipment.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong negotiation, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of T&A, costing, sampling, production and quality processes.
• Ability to independently handle multiple buyers/orders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and merchandising/ERP software.
• Graduate in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Merchandising or related field preferred.
