Department: Design and Project Management - (Data Center experience is required)
Reports To: Head – Design and Project Management
Job Purpose:
The key objective of this role is to ensure MEP services infrastructure is designed, regulatory compliant, and upgraded. Additionally, the role involves developing MEP safety processes for routine and non-routine works. Periodic audits are essential to ensure no harm and zero tolerance for unsafe MEP infrastructure and work practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify critical capex upgrades required for MEP installations along with the operations team and execute the same.
- Prepare technical specifications for procuring engineering materials/equipment based on CAPEX requirements.
- Coordinate periodic audits of MEP infrastructure and address critical issues on priority.
- Evaluate emerging technologies.
- Implement other centralized initiatives related to MEP.
- Maintain a repository of all MEP and other project-related documentation, such as drawings, manuals, records, test reports, and commissioning reports.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements of MEP infrastructure.
- Monitor the performance of all critical infrastructure in coordination with the Operations department.
- Develop energy and environmental conservation programs, O&M policies, and procedures, and coordinate with stakeholders for effective implementation.
- Develop templates for utility consumption monitoring and MIS generation.
- Provide MIS as per requirements.
- Manage the transition of new projects for HOTO.
- Deliver the role in alignment with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, including Health and Safety (EHS).
Budget: 35 LPA (approx.)
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in Electrical (Preferred) or Mechanical Engineering, preferably with Program/Project Management exposure.
Work Experience:
- 12-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial complexes and hospitality projects.
Skills Required:
- Hands-on technical skills in MEP
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and drive results
- Cost management or quantity surveying experience
- Experience in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC engineering, execution, design, or prototyping, and holistic design expertise
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint), MS Project, and AutoCAD
- Drive to gather and implement global best practices
