Job summary

Aurora Talent in Mumbai is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Delivery Senior Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing for a large-scale Data Centre project. You will drive safety, programme, quality, and handover, manage HV interfaces, coordinate with civil and commissioning teams, and deliver value through constructability reviews and BIM-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of MEP construction experience.
• Mandatory experience delivering Data Center and Mission Critical projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture, ensure compliance with site safety, permits, LOTO and HV requirements.
• Manage end-to-end MEP delivery, including HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, ELV, ICT.
• Oversee HV infrastructure, electrical interfaces, testing, commissioning and energisation readiness.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, commissioning and operations teams to hit milestones.
• Monitor progress, risks, costs and schedule; provide regular leadership reports.

Job description

We are supporting our client, a leading hyperscale data centre developer and operator, in the search for an experienced MEP Construction Delivery Senior Manager to deliver a large-scale Data Centre project in Mumbai

.

This role will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring safe execution, programme compliance, quality delivery, and successful project handover.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Safety & Compliance:

• Lead a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all site safety, permit-to-work, LOTO, and HV requirements.
• Drive incident prevention, investigations, and corrective actions.

MEP Construction Delivery

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of all MEP systems, including HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, ELV, andICT.
• Oversee programme execution, subcontractor performance, procurement, logistics, and installation activites.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, commissioning, and operations teams to achieve project milestones.

High Voltage & Utilties

• Oversee HV infrastructure installation, testing, commissioning, and energisation readiness.
• Manage utility interfaces, including power, water, and fibre connections.
• Design, Quality & Commissioning.
• Review designs for constructability, compliance, and value engineering opportunities.
• Ensure quality standards, commissioning activities, and defect-free project handover.

Stakeholder & Project Controls

• Manage contractors, consultants, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, risks, costs, and schedule performance, providing regular reporting to project leadership.

Sustainability & Digital Delivery

• Support sustainability objectives, ESG initiatives, and digital project delivery through BIM and QA/QC plaforms.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 15 years of MEP construction experience.
• Mandatory experience delivering Data Center and Mission Critical projects.
• Proven experience managing MEP delivery from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, Electrical, Fire Protection, Plumbing, ELV, ICT, UPS, Generators, and Critical Infrastructure systems.
• Experience with HV systems, testing, commissioning, and energisation.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, QA/QC, risk management, and regulatory compliance.B
