Job summary

Speedmart is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (MEPF & Structure) to lead and coordinate engineering and construction activities for commercial projects. You will work with US-based PMs to ensure timely, quality deliverables and maintain project documentation.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in construction engineering or project management, with hands-on submittals, cost estimation, and QA/QC experience, using BIM and design tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in Construction Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management with reputed firms.
• Strong coordination of MEPF and Structural engineering across lifecycles.
• Hands-on project administration: submittals, RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, and docs.
• Proven ability to prepare quantity take-offs and assist cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end engineering and project coordination for MEPF, Structural works.
• Coordinate daily with US-based Project Managers for seamless execution.
• Prepare, review, and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and drawings.
• Assist PMs in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and pre-construction tasks.
• Review drawings, specs, and docs for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence and document control throughout lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and trade partners; lead technical training.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (MEPF & Structure) to manage and coordinate

engineering and construction activities for commercial projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with

standards, and ensure timely execution of project deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end engineering and project coordination activities for MEPF, Structural, and

Coordinate daily with US-based Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution and

Prepare, review, and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, shop drawings, and project

documentation.

Assist Project Managers in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bid preparation during project

initiation.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy and

compliance.

Ensure adherence to QA/QC standards and company quality procedures throughout the project

lifecycle.

Maintain and manage project document control systems and document management

applications.

Conduct technical training sessions and mentor junior engineers, architects, and trade partners.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers, MEP

engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Identify project risks, resolve technical issues, and support successful project completion within

schedule and quality standards.

Must - Have Qualifications:

5–8 years of experience in Construction Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management with

reputed construction, engineering consulting, or architectural firms.

Strong experience in managing MEPF (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection) and

Structural Engineering coordination across project lifecycles.

Hands-on experience in Project Administration, including managing Submittals, RFIs, Change

Orders, Shop Drawings, and engineering documentation.

Proven experience in preparing Quantity Take-offs, assisting with Cost Estimation, and supporting

pre-construction activities.

Strong ability to read, interpret, and review Construction Drawings, Engineering Drawings, and

Technical Specifications.

Experience in maintaining QA/QC standards and ensuring compliance with project quality

requirements.

Hands-on experience in coordinating with US-based Project Managers, clients, consultants,

contractors, and cross-functional engineering teams.

Proficiency in managing project documents using Document Management Applications and

Strong working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu for drawing reviews, markups, and document

Experience using On-Screen Takeoff (OST) or similar estimation software for quantity take-offs

and cost estimation (preferred).

Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit for BIM modeling and multidisciplinary coordination.

Proficiency in Navisworks for model review, clash detection, and coordination.

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD for preparing and reviewing engineering and construction

drawings.

Experience using Civil 3D for civil engineering design and documentation.

Hands-on experience with Revizto for BIM collaboration, issue tracking, and project coordination.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and team mentoring skills with

the ability to conduct technical training sessions.

Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
