Job Description

MEP Manager - Healthcare Projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services for healthcare construction, expansion, renovation, and infrastructure projects. The includes MEP design coordination, project execution, contractor management, quality and safety monitoring, testing and commissioning, statutory coordination, documentation, and ensuring that healthcare facilities meet approved technical, operational, and project requirements.

• Manage MEP activities across healthcare construction and infrastructure projects.


• Review and coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility requirements.


• Coordinate MEP designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.


• Review project requirements and ensure compliance with approved design standards.


• Coordinate with architects, civil teams, consultants, contractors, and hospital stakeholders.


• Plan MEP work schedules in line with overall project timelines.


• Supervise contractors and MEP vendors during project execution.


• Monitor quality of installation, materials, workmanship, and technical compliance.


• Coordinate installation of electrical distribution, power systems, lighting, and related services.


• Coordinate HVAC, ventilation, medical gas, plumbing, drainage, and water systems as applicable.


• Ensure coordination of critical healthcare utilities and infrastructure.


• Monitor site progress and identify delays, technical issues, and project risks.


• Review material submittals, technical specifications, and equipment requirements.


• Coordinate testing, commissioning, balancing, and performance verification of MEP systems.


• Support inspection, snagging, rectification, and final handover activities.


• Coordinate with biomedical, IT, fire and safety, and other project teams where required.


• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, statutory, and healthcare project requirements.


• Maintain project documentation, drawings, checklists, reports, and commissioning records.


• Prepare periodic MEP progress and project status reports for management.


• Support cost control, change management, and timely completion of MEP project activities.
