Job summary

YO IT Consulting in Delhi is seeking a senior MEP lead with 12+ years of experience to oversee design development, procurement and site execution of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting and Elevator systems.

You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, review DBR/BOQ/specifications, ensure approvals in time and responsibility for handovers with complete documentation to clients.

Mandatory Skills

• Experience in MEP project execution and management.
• Experience in Base Build construction projects.
• Responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Elevator systems.
• Hands‑on experience with high‑side equipment such as chillers, HT/LT panels, transformers, DG systems, or elevators.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Actively engage in initial design development of MEP Services and assess constructability of the design.
• Understand pre‑construction activities of MEP works like review of DBR, BOQ, specifications and provide value engineering inputs.
• Review legal and statutory compliance of design and follow up on obtaining approvals in time.
• Co‑ordinate with all disciplines of Services Design and other project trades such as structure, finishes, façade, etc.
• Ensure contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approval along with reviewing their own and providing inputs.
• Good sound knowledge of installation of high‑side equipment such as chillers, panels, elevators, etc. Installation experience will be given added advantage.
• Ensure conditions of approvals are implemented at site during execution in a timely and sequential manner.
• Monitor the execution of services work as per drawings, specifications in line with schedule and quality.
• Provide value addition in the selection of vendors & local material suppliers in line with the agreed procurement process with the client.
• Responsible for installation, testing and commissioning of equipment related to all services (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing, Firefighting/Elevators).
• Manage handovers, ensuring that all works are complete as per vendor contracts, receipt of all relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as-built drawings.

• Strong understanding of base build projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Well versed with project costing and execution of construction projects.

Eligibility Criteria

• B.E. - Electrical or Mechanical only.
• 12+ years of relevant experience – prior industrial related experience is a must.
• Should have prior experience of high side equipment such as chillers, panels, elevators, etc., in green field construction projects.
