Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of firefighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, FM200, CO2, water mist, etc.).
• Review project specifications, drawings, and materials to ensure NFPA compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control during installation.
• Perform and oversee testing and commissioning of fire protection systems including functional tests.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and local authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Prepare method statements, inspection and test reports for projects.
• Adhere to HSE guidelines and safe on-site practices.
• Train end-users or client personnel on system operation and maintenance as needed.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Fighting Engineer with hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems in commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the systems are installed in accordance with project specifications, relevant codes, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of firefighting systems (sprinklers, hydrants, FM200, CO2, water mist, etc.).
• Review project specifications, drawings, and materials to ensure compliance with NFPA, local fire codes, and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the installation phase.
• Perform and oversee testing and commissioning of fire protection systems, including functional performance testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and local authorities (e.g., Civil Defense) for inspections and approvals.
• Prepare and submit method statements, inspection reports, and test reports.
• Ensure adherence to HSE guidelines and safe work practices on-site.
• Train end-users or client personnel on system operation and maintenance, if required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Fire Protection Engineering and Safety Engineering.
• Candidates should possess skills in Fire Safety and Life Safety.
• Candidates should possess skills in Fire Suppression Systems.
• Currently pursuing or having completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Fire/ Safety Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of building services (MEP), relevant codes, and standards related to fire and life safety.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical drawing interpretation abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site under supervision.
• Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and commitment to safety-focused engineering practices.
