Job summary

LEAMS Education Services (Gamma Holdings Ltd.) seeks a qualified MEP Project Engineer with 4+ years of experience in construction-based MEP works. The role requires a B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering and offers full-time employment on-site.

Candidate will plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP activities, review technical documents, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule adherence across multiple trades on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in MEP works, preferably in the construction industry.
• B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all MEP works at construction sites.
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical documents before execution.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and other project teams to avoid clashes and delays.
• Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, plumbing, firefighting, HVAC, and other MEP systems.
• Ensure MEP works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
• Prepare material requirements and coordinate with Procurement and Stores for timely availability of MEP materials.
• Review submittals, datasheets, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Supervise MEP subcontractors, vendors, and site teams; monitor progress and productivity.
• Conduct regular site inspections; ensure compliance with quality, safety, and statutory requirements.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate with consultants/clients for timely resolution.
• Monitor progress against MEP schedule and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Verify subcontractor measurements and MEP bills with QS & Billing teams.
• Ensure testing, inspection, documentation, and approval of MEP installations at each stage.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper functioning before handover.
• Prepare and maintain MEP progress reports, inspection/testing records, material logs, and project documentation.
• Coordinate submission of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, test certificates, and handover documents.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, environmental, and building regulations.
• Participate in project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Support Project Manager in MEP planning, cost control, resource planning, and project execution.

18. Participate in project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
19. Support the Project Manager in MEP planning, cost control, resource planning, and project execution.
20. Ensure proper coordination between MEP services and architectural finishes to minimize rework and maintain project quality.
