Job summary

Raheja Universal is seeking a seasoned MEP Draughtsman to create accurate drawings for HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across residential and commercial developments. You will liaise with design consultants, engineers, and site teams to ensure coherent, clash-free drawings and timely execution.

The role requires an 8+ year track record in MEP drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit/BIM for coordination.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil.
• AutoCAD certification is mandatory.
• 8+ years of experience as an MEP draughtsman.
• Experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) using AutoCAD.
• Develop shop drawings, GA drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for clash-free drawings.
• Update drawings based on site conditions and changes; support site clarifications.
• Ensure drawings comply with NBC, IS standards, and local authority requirements.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman to develop accurate and coordinated drawings for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across residential and commercial real estate projects. The role involves close coordination with design consultants, engineers, and site teams to support efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) using AutoCAD
• Develop shop drawings, GA drawings, and as-built drawings
• Convert design inputs and BOQs into working drawings
• Maintain drawing registers and revision records

Coordination

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams for clash-free drawings
• Incorporate consultant and site feedback into revised drawings
• Support BIM/Revit coordination wherever applicable

Execution Support

• Update drawings based on site conditions and changes
• Assist site team with drawing clarifications
• Support quantity take-offs (basic level)

Compliance & Quality

• Ensure drawings comply with NBC, IS standards, and local authority requirements
• Maintain accuracy and adherence to project specifications

Education

• Certification in AutoCAD (mandatory)

Experience

• 8+ years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman

Technical Skills
