Job summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented MEP Draughtsman with 4–5 years of experience in preparing accurate drawings for Mechanical and Electrical systems. The candidate will support design and execution teams by developing coordinated MEP layouts in line with project specifications, standards, and site requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings including HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Fighting systems using AutoCAD.
• Develop shop drawings, layout drawings, and schematic diagrams as per approved design concepts.
• Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and other services to avoid clashes.
• Revise drawings based on design modifications, site conditions, and consultant/client comments.
• Assist in preparing as‑built drawings after completion of work.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable IS/IEC standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control as per project procedures.

Required Skills and qualifications

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Draftsmanship.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in MEP drafting for buildings or infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical layouts, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Experience
