Job summary

HiLITE Group is seeking an MEP Design Engineer to prepare detailed MEP drawings and manage multi-disciplinary coordination for large commercial projects. You will design and coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems, and conduct sizing and load calculations.

The role requires hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and BIM to resolve clashes and produce BOQs and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/electrical.
• Basic knowledge in HVAC/ Electrical/ plumbing and firefighting systems, Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.
• 2-8 years of experience in high rise or big commercial sites.
• Autocad, Revit MEP, Navisworks, BIM, HVAC Design, Electrical Design, Plumbing Design, Firefighting Design, BOQ, Load calculations, MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP design drawings, layouts, schematics and technical documentation.
• Design and coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems.
• Perform HVAC load, electrical load, hydraulic, pipe sizing, and equipment-sizing calculations as applicable.
• Develop and review BOQ'S, specifications, equipment schedules and design reports.
• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural and other engineering disciplines.
• Identify and resolve design clashes using AutoCAD, Revit MEP, BIM or similar tools.
• Review drawings, technical submittals and contractor proposal.
• Provide technical support to project or site teams during execution.
