Job summary

Aster DM Quality Care in Indore is seeking a senior clinical administrator to supervise OPD, IPD, ICU, emergency, and diagnostic services. You will ensure adherence to protocols, monitor outcomes, and coordinate across departments to maintain high standards of patient care.

You will lead initiatives for patient safety, incident reporting, and continuous improvement, while ensuring staffing, resource availability, and NABH compliance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical departments including OPD, IPD, ICU, emergency, OR, and diagnostic services.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, guidelines, and hospital policies.
• Monitor patient care standards, outcomes, mortality/morbidity reviews, and adverse events.
• Coordinate with Heads of Departments to resolve clinical and operational issues.
• Ensure appropriate medical staffing and availability of essential services.
• Oversee daily hospital functioning and coordinate with nursing, medical, labs, radiology, pharmacy, and support services.
• Monitor admissions, discharges, referrals, transfers, and bed management.
• Address patient complaints, grievances, and medico-administrative issues.
• Ensure timely medical attention, continuity of care, and effective communication with patients and attendants.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and disaster management activities.
• Implement and monitor quality indicators and patient-safety initiatives.
• Ensure NABH compliance where accreditation is pursued or maintained.
• Review clinical audits, infection-control reports, sentinel events, and CAP actions.
• Promote incident reporting, root-cause analysis, and continuous quality improvement.
• Monitor biomedical waste management, infection prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship policies.

• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, standard treatment guidelines, and hospital policies.
