Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) and Master of Architecture (M.Arch.).
• 28 years of experience in healthcare planning/design.
• Experience in hospital layouts, space programming, and clinical workflow.

Responsibilities

• Healthcare Planning and Design: develop hospital layouts, departmental plans, and space programmes based on project briefs and standards.
• Clinical Workflow and Space Planning: map patient, staff, material, and service flows to ensure safety and infection control.
• Architectural Design and Documentation: prepare layouts and drawings, ensure coordination and regulatory compliance.
• Project Coordination and Delivery: liaison with leads, consultants, and MEP teams to meet milestones and budgets.
• Design Quality and Innovation: seek opportunities to improve efficiency and functionality while meeting client expectations.

Role Objective

To develop patient-centric efficient and functional, healthcare planning solutions by translating clinical requirements and operational workflows into well-coordinated hospital layouts, ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare planning standards, design quality, and project delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities-

1. 1. Healthcare Planning and Design
   Develop hospital layouts, departmental plans, and functional space programmes based on project briefs, client requirements, and healthcare planning standards. Ensure optimal space utilisation and functional efficiency.
2. 2. Clinical Workflow and Space Planning
   Understand patient, staff, material, and service flows across hospital departments. Translate clinical and operational requirements into efficient layouts that support patient safety, infection control, accessibility, and smooth hospital operations.
3. 3. Architectural Design and Documentation
   Prepare layouts and review schematic layouts, detailed drawings, and planning documentation. Ensure design accuracy, coordination, and compliance with applicable building regulations and healthcare guidelines.
4. 4. Project Coordination and Delivery
   Coordinate with project leads, healthcare consultants, MEP teams, and other stakeholders to integrate clinical requirements with architectural design. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones within agreed budgets and schedules.
5. 5. Design Quality and Innovation
   Identify opportunities to improve planning efficiency, departmental adjacencies, circulation, and overall functionality while maintaining design quality and client expectations.
6. 6. Professional Development and Collaboration
   Stay updated on healthcare planning practices, hospital design standards, and industry developments. Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, accountability, and initiative throughout project execution.
