Job summary

KIMS Hospitals in Hyderabad seeks a Senior Architect specializing in hospital planning to lead design and implementation across new and renovation projects. You will oversee master plans, floor layouts, and space planning to optimize patient and staff flow.

You will coordinate with MEP, structural, biomedical, and operations teams, ensure NABH compliance, review drawings and BOQs, conduct site visits, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in hospital planning and architectural design.
• Strong ability to manage complex architectural projects in healthcare settings.
• Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospital planning, architectural design, and project implementation.
• Develop concept plans, master plans, floor plans, and detailed layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with NABH requirements and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural, biomedical, medical, and operations teams.
• Plan clinical and non-clinical areas including OPD, IPD, OT, ICU, Emergency, Diagnostics, and support services.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, BOQs, specifications, and design documents.
• Conduct site visits and monitor project execution as per approved designs.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Identify design issues and provide practical solutions during project execution.
• Manage multiple hospital projects while ensuring quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.
• Support renovation, expansion, and new hospital development projects.
• Ensure effective space planning, workflow optimization, and patient/staff movement.
