The Medical Director will lead the clinical governance and medical operations, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance, developing and standardizing SOPs across all centers, establishing common clinical and operational practices, and maintaining high standards of patient safety, care quality, and medical oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical governance, quality, and compliance across all centers
- Develop, implement, and periodically update SOPs, protocols, and clinical policies
- Establish common practices and standardized workflows across locations
- Oversee required certifications, accreditations, audits, and statutory medical compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and safety norms
- Guide center teams on clinical best practices, infection control, and patient safety
- Support hiring, training, and evaluation of medical and nursing teams
- Work with management to improve quality, outcomes, efficiency, and service delivery
- Act as the senior medical authority for escalation, incident review, and corrective actions
Preferred Profile
- Strong experience in hospital / healthcare operations and clinical governance
- Experience in setting up SOPs, quality systems, and multi-center standardization
- Familiarity with NABH / healthcare compliance / certification processes preferred
- Strong leadership, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills
