Job Description
Chief Medical Administrator is responsible for providing strategic leadership for medical and clinical administration across the hospital. The includes coordination of clinical departments, medical staff management, patient care processes, quality and safety oversight, regulatory and accreditation support, clinical documentation, and collaboration with hospital leadership to improve operational efficiency and maintain high standards of medical service delivery.
- Provide leadership and oversight for medical administration and clinical operations.
- Coordinate activities across medical departments and clinical specialties.
- Support effective deployment and coordination of medical staff.
- Establish and monitor medical policies, protocols, and clinical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital standards, clinical guidelines, and applicable requirements.
- Monitor quality of medical services and patient care processes.
- Review clinical incidents, complaints, adverse events, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with nursing, pharmacy, diagnostics, billing, TPA, and support departments.
- Monitor patient care workflows, service standards, and turnaround times.
- Support accreditation, inspections, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Review clinical performance indicators and medical administration reports.
- Facilitate communication between consultants, doctors, nursing teams, and management.
- Address escalated medical and patient-care-related concerns.
- Support clinical risk management and patient safety initiatives.
- Coordinate medical committees, meetings, case reviews, and clinical discussions.
- Monitor clinical documentation and medical record standards.
- Support recruitment, credentialing, orientation, and professional development of medical staff.
- Identify operational gaps and coordinate improvement initiatives.
- Prepare periodic reports and strategic updates for senior hospital management.
- Maintain confidentiality, professional standards, and ethical practices across medical services.
