Job summary

Miit Global Services is seeking a Training Specialist to design and deliver comprehensive medical coding training for participants in Chennai district. The role involves classroom or online sessions, developing materials, and coaching learners to master ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and HCPCS coding frameworks.

The ideal candidate has a life sciences background with 1–3 years of teaching or training experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life science, paramedical or allied health science.
• 1-3 years of teaching or training in related fields (anatomy, physiology, pathology, medical terminology).
• Excellent communication for presentation and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs for medical coding.
• Conduct classroom and online training sessions on ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes.
• Develop course materials, presentations, and handouts.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs for medical coding using ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS codes.
• Conduct classroom sessions, online webinars, or virtual training sessions to train participants on medical coding principles.
• Develop course materials, presentations, and handouts to support the training program.
• Provide one-on-one coaching and feedback to trainees to improve their skills in medical coding.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy of training content.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life science, paramedical or allied health science
• 1-3 years of experience in teaching or training in a related field such as anatomy & physiology, pathology, or medical terminology.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT Coding systems.
• Relevant certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS, CRC, CPMA) are a plus
• Excellent communication skills for effective presentation delivery and participant engagement.
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to suit different learning styles and needs.
