Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Chennai seeks a Certified Trainer with 7-8 years in Medical Coding, including 3-4 years in training and up-to-date ICD/CPT knowledge.

The ideal candidate holds CPC certification, is proficient in English, and masters MS Excel and PowerPoint. You will create training content and conduct audits of charts and new specialty work, coordinating with supervisors. Also, develop onboarding programs and address skill gaps.

Qualifications

• Certified Trainer with 7-8 years in Medical Coding, including 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in training ICD and CPT with knowledge of latest updates.
• Proficient in English; MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge is must.

Responsibilities

• Must conduct client-specific, industry updates and general coding training by coordinating with Supervisors/Training Manager.
• Must be flexible to do audits of charts processed by new hires and any new specialty work.
• Good to have: evaluate employee performance and develop onboarding programs.
• Good to have: research updates and teaching methods, create training programs to address skill gaps.

Roles & Responsibility:

• Certified Trainer with minimum of 7-8 years of Experience in Medical Coding field with 3-4 year relevant work experience.
• Should have experience in training ICD and CPT and should we aware of the latest updates
• Preferred Specialty EM Multispecialty and Surgery
• Certification CPC certified
• Proficient in English is must.
• Flexible to take up New specialty learnings when and where required and train the resources
• Expert in creating content and track the changes
• MS Excel and MS Powerpoint knowledge is must
• Must be responsible in doing all levels of training including Client specifics, Industry Updates and General coding Training by coordinating with the Supervisors/ Training Manager
• Must be flexible to do audits of charts processed by the new hires, any new specialty work done by the team and regular audits as and when required.
• Good to have - Evaluate employee performance to gauge where skills are lacking
• Good to have - Develop onboarding programs for new employees.
