ECLAT Health Solutions in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Team Lead – Medical Coding to manage Revenue Integrity operations across Multispecialty IPDRG and OP coding services. The role focuses on productivity, quality, compliance, and client satisfaction while ensuring adherence to coding guidelines.

You will lead a team of medical coders, monitor metrics, conduct audits, oversee denials analysis, and drive continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Nursing, or related discipline.
• CPC, CCS, CIC, CRC, RHIT, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 6+ years of medical coding experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years of Team Lead experience in medical coding operations.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS, DRG methodologies, and Revenue Integrity concepts.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – Medical Coding to manage Revenue Integrity operations across Multispecialty Inpatient DRG (IPDRG) and Outpatient (OP) coding services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving productivity, quality, compliance, team performance, and client satisfaction while ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and revenue integrity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of medical coders working on Revenue Integrity – Multispecialty IPDRG & OP accounts.
• Monitor productivity, quality, TAT, SLA adherence, and overall team performance.
• Allocate workloads, manage staffing, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Conduct coding audits, quality reviews, and provide feedback to improve coding accuracy.
• Review coding opportunities impacting reimbursement and revenue capture.
• Support denial analysis, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation.
• Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS, CMS, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Handle client escalations and participate in governance discussions as required.
• Train, mentor, and coach team members to improve quality and productivity.
• Track and publish daily, weekly, and monthly operational MIS reports.
• Collaborate with Quality, Training, Operations, and Client Management teams to achieve business objectives.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and support automation opportunities.
