Job summary

Verse Group Limited is seeking a Media Asset Operator to handle incoming and outgoing media files, ensuring quality and proper packaging for delivery. You will work with Aspera, Signiant, and S3 to manage assets, perform QC, and troubleshoot issues in a collaborative team environment.

The role requires familiarity with media formats, metadata workflows, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience in a post-production media environment.
• Knowledge of digital delivery platforms such as Aspera, Signiant, S3.
• Familiarity with metadata/XML creation and verification and QC processes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight timelines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Access video incoming/outgoing files using file transfer clients such as Aspera, Signiant, S3.
• Manage files and data on the server in an efficient and timely manner.
• Perform quality control on incoming video assets against a given specification.
• Address and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Communicate with internal departments (QC, Project Management, Tech, etc.)
• Willingness to learn and undertake additional department duties as required

Job Title: Media Asset Operator

Overview

Media asset ("Incoming and Outgoing") operators work with clients to receive media files (audio, video, subtitles) and to manage them on the network and archive them when work is completed. This is a great opportunity for someone who is team-oriented, technically skilled, systems-oriented, and has an overall "Roll Up Your Sleeves" approach to troubleshooting.
