Job summary

JobTrade in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Production Engineer / Assembler to join the on-site manufacturing team. You will assemble electro-mechanical products by integrating motors, PCBs, actuators, and wiring harnesses, following engineering drawings and SOPs to ensure high quality and safety standards.

Job Description

• Follow engineering drawings, assembly procedures, and standard operating procedures during production.
• Test and troubleshoot assembled units to identify faults, defects, and quality issues.
• Diagnose assembly-related problems and coordinate with the engineering team for corrective actions.
• Work closely with design and engineering teams to improve assembly processes and product quality.
• Identify opportunities to reduce assembly cycle time and improve production efficiency.
• Support the setup, calibration, and maintenance of jigs, fixtures, and assembly stations.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for product assembly.
• Read and understand technical and engineering drawings.
• Perform basic electrical and electronic wiring and testing activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstation cleanliness as per 5S standards.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and assembly records.
• Ensure products meet required quality and safety standards.
• Take ownership of assigned production activities and support the team in achieving production targets.

Job Requirements

• Education: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electronics
• Prior hands-on experience in electro-mechanical or product assembly is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Basic understanding of electronics, wiring, and testing equipment is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented and reliable approach toward work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
