Job summary

Siemens Energy India Limited seeks a senior mechanical professional to lead the installation, commissioning, and MRT of steam turbine projects. You will support project management and engineering teams, review P&IDs and GA drawings, and oversee site installation and packaging of turbines with drives/generators.

The role requires 15–20 years of mechanical experience, strong knowledge of steam cycle systems, and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities in a high-voltage turbine environment.

Qualifications

• Rich knowledge on installation and commissioning of steam turbine
• Experience in trouble shooting is an added advantage
• Experience as installation and commissioning engineer; capable of erection, commissioning and MRT of steam turbine projects

Responsibilities

• Mechanical run test (MRT) of steam turbine at test bench and post-MRT installation and inspection
• Handle site installation and packaging of small turbine with drive/generators
• Provide technical support to project management and engineering teams
• Review P&IDs, Isometrics and GA; understand condensate and steam cycle

Job description

Will be responsible for Business development of High Voltage products which includes GIS/AIS Spare Parts -Accessories, Field Services, HV Circuit breaker Retrofit, Refurbishment, Substation Modifications, uprating, GIS / AIS Bay Extensions, Planned Maintenance and Inspection, Reactive Maintenance and Repairs, Operation and Maintenance-O&M, Project Services, Transformers and Digital Services in the Northern region of India.

How You'll Make an Impact

Responsible for Mechanical run test (MRT) of steam Turbine at test bench along with installation and open inspection of Turbine post MRT completion. Must be able to handle steam turbines. Steam turbines drive i.e. pumps, compressors, and blowers starting from 100KW to 50MW.

Hand-on experience, work closely and support Project management and engineering team by providing technical support for overall Project

Responsible for handling site installation, packaging of small Turbine with drive/Generators.

What You Bring

Diploma/B. E / B. Tech Mechanical with above 15 to 20 years of experience.

Rich Knowledge on installation and commissioning of steam Turbine is must. Experience in Trouble shooting additionally is an added advantage.

Experience as Installation and commissioning engineer and should be capable of handling the erection, commissioning and MRT of steam Turbine projects

Rich Knowledge on reviewing P&IDs, Isometric & GA.

Rich Knowledge of condensate and steam cycle.
