SAMSUNG E&A invites experienced Mechanical Static Engineer to join our Oil & Gas EPC team. You will design and perform strength calculations for static equipment such as pressure vessels, reactors, columns, and storage tanks, ensuring compliance with relevant codes.

Responsibilities include reviewing MDS/TBE, vendor drawings, and engineering activities across Proposal, FEED, and EPC stages, with frequent collaboration with clients and vendors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Fertilizer industries is preferred.
• Proficiency with PV Elite, COMPASS/COMPRESS, NozzlePRO or equivalent software.
• Strong knowledge of static equipment design and fabrication.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for long-term deputation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and perform strength calculations for static equipment, including pressure vessels, reactors, columns, heat exchangers, storage tanks, platforms, and ladders.
• Prepare and review Material Data Sheets (MDS), RFQs, Material Requisitions, and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Review vendor drawings, fabrication drawings, and equipment calculations.
• Execute engineering activities across Proposal, FEED, and EPC project stages.
• Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII Div. 1 & 2, API 660, TEMA, and applicable client specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, interdisciplinary teams, and expatriates as required.
• Participate in design reviews, 3D model reviews, HAZOP/SIL reviews, and technical problem-solving.
• Support vendor inspections, site troubleshooting, root cause analysis, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project delivery.
