Job summary

Bando India is seeking a mechanical engineer to supervise and optimize injection molding operations in Bengaluru. The role focuses on machine control, process settings, and quality assurance across multiple machines from Haitian to Prikan.

You will manage mold changeovers, SMED activities, and daily SOPs while leading a team and driving efficiency through 5S, Kaizen, and ERP-driven workflows. Proficiency in Kannada, Hindi or English is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with injection molding, PLC and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, 5S and Kaizen principles.
• Basic knowledge of Kannada, Hindi or English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize Injection Molding Machines (Haitian, Toshiba, Yizumi, Milacron, Windsor, Prikan).
• Perform mold loading/unloading, SMED and changeover planning; PM checks.
• Monitor OEE; compare plan vs actual; control rejection % and defect ratios.
• Maintain trial docs, first-shot inspection, 100% visual checks, HPR/SPP/MTC sheets.
• Lead team; plan shifts; train operators; implement 5S, Kaizen, and 7QC tools.
• Prepare SOPs, daily check sheets, 4M reports; manage ERP work orders and barcodes.
• Oversee monthly inventory, mold history CAD and raw material loader checks.
