Jindal Steel Limited in Raigarh, India, seeks a skilled maintenance engineer to oversee operation and maintenance of all media systems (hydraulic, lubrication, grease) in the Special profile mill. You will maintain power packs, pumps, cylinders, valves, accumulators, hoses, and filtration units, and troubleshoot hydraulic faults across mill stands and auxiliaries.

This role requires ensuring safety standards, familiarity with PLC/interlock hydraulic systems, and keeping comprehensive maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of hydraulic media systems in industrial mill environments.
• Familiar with PLC/interlock hydraulic controls and troubleshooting.
• Maintains accurate schematics, logs and service reports.

Responsabilités

• Oversee operation and maintenance of all media systems (hydraulic, lubrication, grease) in the Special profile mill.
• Maintain power packs, pumps, cylinders, valves, accumulators, hoses, and filtration units.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic faults in mill stands, reheating furnace, shears, cooling beds, and auxiliaries.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and safe working practices for high-pressure hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with PLC/interlock-based hydraulic systems.
• Maintain hydraulic schematics, maintenance logs, spares inventory, and service reports.
• Coordinate within mechanical, electrical, and production teams for improving mill uptime.
• Maintaining technical documentation, schematics, and procedures for maintenance activities.
• Responsible for routine and preventive maintainance of media systems.
