Job summary

Mayur Uniquoters is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Leader in Jaipur to oversee erection, installation, commissioning of new machines and plant utility systems. The role demands coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to deliver projects safely and to specification.

You will manage preventive and breakdown maintenance, energy-saving initiatives, and life cycle costing while ensuring maximum equipment availability and strict safety compliance across the production line.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise erection, installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and contractors for timely project execution.
• Ensure machines are commissioned safely and as per required specifications.
• Manage preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
• Ensure smooth functioning of HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting systems, compressors, chillers, cooling towers and other utilities.
• Minimize machine downtime and ensure maximum equipment availability.
• Identify and implement energy-saving and cost-reduction projects.
• Analyze energy consumption and quantify potential savings.
• Manage maintenance and engineering projects from planning through execution and commissioning.
• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets and material requirements.
• Monitor project expenditure and ensure effective cost control.
• Apply Life Cycle Costing (LCC) principles for project evaluation.
• Ensure availability of critical mechanical spares and maintenance materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize spare-parts consumption.
• Coordinate with Purchase and Stores for timely procurement.
• Define responsibilities and ownership for project activities.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, quality and productivity.
• Conduct regular project/status review meetings with stakeholders.
• Identify project risks/issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and safety standards.

Job Purpose
