Job summary

Jobtailor in Chennai is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to lead TPM/PM activities, analyze breakdowns and drive improvements across CNC, PLC, and SPM machinery. You will maintain machine history, calibration records, and spare parts planning while coordinating teams.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong coordination, and timely execution of preventive and condition-based maintenance to minimize downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coordinate rapid breakdown resolutions.
• Maintenance knowledge for CNC, PLC, SPM machinery.
• Experience with CNC spindle and ball screw assemblies.
• Skilled in preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance.
• Ability to calibrate instruments and plan spares.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis for breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out audits for proper machine maintenance and provide guidance.
• Implement PM, TBM and CBM activities as per plan.
• Maintain machine history and preventive maintenance records.
• Instrument calibration and spare part planning.
• Provide resources of men, material and tools.
• Recondition machines when required.
• Installation and erection of new machines and equipment.
