Job summary

Flowserve in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Engineer to drive product engineering, order engineering, and design activities for valves and actuators. You will support R&D and DtV projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while aligning with product and market needs.

The role requires strong CAD/CAE skills (SolidWorks/ANSYS/Inventor), extensive knowledge of ASME/API/ISO standards, and hands-on BOM experience in Oracle/SAP or ERP systems.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or equivalent with minimum 8 years in core valve design and development.
• Or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Eng. with minimum 12 years in core valve design and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Product Engineering and Order Engineering Support to complete R&D and DtV projects on time and on budget meeting product and market requirements.
• Designing, modeling and detailing of industrial control valves / pneumatic actuators.
• Responsible for Design Validation and Testing based on product / order requirements.
• Provide Quote & technical support for Com Ops Team (ETO).

Job Requirements

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or Equivalent with minimum experience of 8years in core valve design and development role.
• Or Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or Equivalent with minimum experience of 12years in core valve design and development role.
• Good Communication skills sets.
• Knowledge and hands on experience in Industrial Valve design. (Rotary or Linear Valves)
• Knowledge in CAD/CAE Packages Solidworks, Ansys, or Autodesk Inventor.
• Knowledge in ASME, API, ISO Standards.
• Hands on experience in BOM Preparation with Oracle / SAP or any other ERP is an added advantage.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, procedures, international codes and standards or governmental regulations.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from both internal and external customers.
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to initiate Root Cause Analysis and corrective action plans.
