SGS in Mumbai is seeking Mechanical Inspection Engineers with 5–15 years of experience in third party inspection, QA/QC, manufacturing, or EPC projects, preferably in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, or Process Industries.

The role reports to the Operations Manager / Project Manager and involves stage-wise and final inspections during manufacturing, assembly and testing; reviewing ITPs, quality plans, drawings and specs; and witnessing NDT, dimensional checks, pressure testing, FAT.

Competenze

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering.
• 5–15 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection, welding, NDT, heat treatment, material inspection, and quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret drawings, datasheets, ITPs, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, ISO, EN, TEMA, NACE, and MSS-SP.
• Experience with vendor/shop inspections and inspection reporting.

• Conduct stage-wise and final inspections during manufacturing, assembly, testing, preservation, and packing.
