Responsibilities

Project Engineer (Mechanical /Civil) Location: Mangalore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Civil Engineering to manage end-to-end project coordination activities. The role involves close interaction with customers, consultants, internal design, sales, and production teams to ensure timely execution, documentation, and delivery of projects while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in mechanical and civil production environments.
• Technical knowledge of basic mechanical and civil construction materials mainly

sheet metals ,structural steels ,fabrication works ,precast concrete .

• Excellent coordination and communication skills with customers, consultants, sales,

engineering, and operations teams.

• Knowledge in ERP platforms (ERP Next preferred) and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve project issues and bottlenecks in a timely

and responsible manner.

• Expertise in documentation, data tracking, communication records, and

database maintenance.

• Well-versed in daily task tracking and status reporti.ng.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
• High level of ethical integrity, including confidentiality, handling sensitive

information, and compliance with data privacy regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Receive and acknowledge enquiries from customers and stakeholders.
• Verify receipt of all required customer documents such as specifications, drawings, images, and references, and maintain systematic records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to obtain cost estimations based on customer requirements.
• Support customers by proposing equivalent specifications when complete details are unavailable.
• Prepare and submit quotations based on approved estimations within committed timelines.
• Follow up with customers for Purchase Orders (POs) and advance payments.
• Preparation and submission technical data sheets, material and QC documents to customers.
• Coordinate with the Design team for issuance and submission of Shop Drawings / GA Drawing to customers and production drawings to production team.
• Liaise with operations/production teams to ensure on-time manufacturing, Logistics and delivery.
• Also coordinate with customers and internal teams for:
  • Sample/mock-up preparation and approval.
  • Swatch samples and approval.
  • Factory visits by customers or consultants.
  • Material sampling for third-party testing.
  • Performa invoice and Final Payment.
• Ensure all tasks, communications, and updates are recorded and tracked through ERPNext.
• Provide daily status reports to the Team Lead/Manager.
• Updating task tracker, identify delays, resolve issues, and communicate reasons for any deviation from committed timelines.
