Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a Mechanical/Structural Designer to check and approve drawings and designs for hyperscale data center modules. The role requires expertise in SolidWorks (Expert) and a background in weldments, sheet metal, and mechanical drafting. You will coordinate interfaces and ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.

Educational certification in design and 4–9 years of relevant experience are required. Knowledge of Windchill or SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical Certification in the design discipline.
• 4–9 years of experience in mechanical and structural scopes for hyperscale data center modules or related environments.
• Background in Structural/Mechanical drafting, Weldments & Sheet metal.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve drawings and designs.
• Coordinate interface communication and ensure accuracy, reliability, and safety of mechanical, piping, and structural scopes.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and industrial standards for hyperscale data center modules.

Key Responsibilities

The Designer will support the goals and programs established by the management team. These roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The Mechanical/ Structural Designer will be responsible for checking and approving drawings/ designs;
• interface communication, and ensuring the accuracy, reliability, efficiency, and safety of the mechanical,
• piping, and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules meets customer's
• Requirements And Industrial Standards They Produce.

Work Experience

• Educational Qualification - Designer should be in possession of a Technical Certification in the design discipline.
• Experience - A minimum of 4 to 9 years of experience mechanical and structural scopes of work for Hyperscale Data Center Modules or related environment in similar industry.
• Background - Structural/ Mechanical drafting/ Weldments & Sheet metal (must)
• Language - Fluency in written and verbal - English
• Software Knowledge - SolidWorks (Expert) - Weldments and Structures
• Optional software knowledge - Windchill, SAP
