Role Description
This is a full-time job for a Design Engineer based in the Chimbali, Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing innovative product designs, creating detailed technical drawings using CAD software, performing mechanical calculations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-quality robotic components. Additional duties include ensuring compliance with technical standards and optimizing product functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Requirement Candidate must be proficient in mechanical design, Assembly Design, preparing concept design, simulation for robot grippers/SPM/Conveyors, as per received data from OEM. Knowledge of pneumatic actuators, their applications, and rest pneumatics, PLC,circuit, electrical wire diagram/drawings. Preparation of Bill of material, detail drawing for assembly and DAP presentation. Experience in robotics, jigs, gauges and experience in mechanical design, Spm design of components and assemblies. Ability to identify and select standard mechanical, pneumatic, mechatronic components as per application demand or develop own components that fulfil the application. Knowledge of planning and scheduling of a design project, project execution.
