Job summary

Drupe Engineering Private Limited is seeking a Design Engineer (Automation & Robotics) to join its growing automation and robotics team in Navi Mumbai. The role focuses on creating 3D models, detailing mechanical assemblies, and ensuring seamless integration with controls and electrical teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of mechanical design experience, strong SolidWorks skills, and a solid grounding in GD&T and BOM practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, automation or robotics.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Design and detail mechanical assemblies for robotic gantries, welding SPMs, and CNC structures.
• Prepare GA drawings, part drawings, and accurate BOMs.
• Collaborate with controls, electrical, and production teams for integration and validation.
• Apply GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Support prototyping, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks
• Design and detail mechanical assemblies for robotic gantries, welding SPMs, and CNC structures
