Job summary

Driplex Engitech Ltd in Vadodara, India, is seeking a Design Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. You will work on developing new products, creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models, and supporting production with accurate design documentation. Proficiency in Solid Edge is essential, with 2–5 years of hands-on experience.

Ansys knowledge is a plus. Strong English communication and meticulous mechanical understanding are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar mechanical design role.
• 2–5 years of experience working with Solid Edge (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Ansys or basic FEA is an advantage.
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Design team to develop and improve new and existing products.
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and design documentation using Solid Edge.
• Analyze prototype data and conduct retesting when required.
• Coordinate with vendors and support vendor development for design components.
• Utilize STERP for design workflows (if known; added advantage).
• Conduct research to support new product ideas, concepts, and engineering improvements.
• Ensure all designs comply with engineering, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all drawings, design revisions, and updates.
• Provide creative and practical design solutions to complex mechanical problems.
