Job summary

Pinnacle in Madurai invites a Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our BIM team. You will develop and coordinate HVAC BIM models and produce construction documentation in line with project requirements.

Ideal candidates have 1–10 years of mechanical BIM modeling experience, strong Revit MEP skills, and ability to coordinate with multi-discipline teams. This role offers an Office-based work setup and opportunities for global project exposure.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–10 years in Mechanical BIM modeling.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and drafting standards.
• Ability to coordinate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Develop HVAC system layouts, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and components.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, installation drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural teams to avoid clashes.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar software.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions and project requirements.
• Generate schedules, quantity take-offs, and other project deliverables from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project specifications.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and support delivery teams.

Job Description Mechanical BIM Modeler

Position: Mechanical BIM Modeler
Location: Madurai
Experience: 1–10 Years

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical BIM Modeler to join our BIM team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating Mechanical (HVAC) BIM models and producing high-quality construction documentation in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Mechanical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Develop HVAC system layouts, including ductwork, piping, equipment, and associated components.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, installation drawings, and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, and Architectural teams to ensure clash-free models.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination using Navisworks or similar software.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions and project requirements.
• Generate schedules, quantity take-offs, and other project deliverables from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, BIM standards, and quality requirements.
• Participate in project coordination meetings and support project delivery teams.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–10 years of experience in Mechanical BIM Modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Good understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical design principles, and drafting standards.
• Experience in preparing mechanical shop drawings and coordinated BIM models.
• Knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on international projects (US, UK, Middle East, Australia, etc.).
• Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and BIM standards.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and other BIM-related software.
• Understanding of LOD requirements and BIM workflows.
• Exposure to plumbing and fire protection systems will be an added advantage.
