Job summary

Emblaze Training & Services seeks a skilled mechanical assembler to read 3D CAD models and 2D drawings, follow SOPs, and assemble components with accuracy. The role involves using hand and power tools, applying correct torque to fasteners, and performing alignment and checks after assembly.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, reading engineering drawings, and familiarity with SAP for production tracking within a manufacturing environment in India.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting 3D CAD models and 2D drawings.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain documentation.
• Skilled with hand tools and power tools used in assembly.
• Knowledge of fasteners, torque sequences, threading and locking mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience assembling mechanical components and aligning parts.
• Familiarity with SAP for production tracking.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret 3D CAD models and 2D drawings to assemble components.
• Follow SOPs to ensure quality and safety in assembly.
• Handle and operate hand and power tools; maintain and store tools properly.
• Identify fasteners, apply correct torque and tightening sequence.

• Drawing & Documentation Interpretation Reading and interpreting 3D CAD models.
• Reading and interpreting 2D engineering drawings (including dimensions, tolerances, and symbols).
• Understanding and accurately following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Tool Handling Identifying and using basic hand tools (e.g., spanners, screwdrivers, pliers).
• Operating power tools safely (e.g., drills, torque wrenches).
• Performing proper tool maintenance and storage.
