Job summary

ALTEN India is seeking an ME Workprep Engineer in Bengaluru to prepare and maintain WI/SOI for manufacturing with a strong focus on PLM tooling (3DEXPERIENCE/DELMIA) and EBOM/MBOM management. You will support PFMEA, Control Plans, and SAP-based production ordering, interpreting drawings per aerospace standards, and driving shop-floor improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of ME experience, engineering degree, and hands-on SAP experience, with good communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Work Instruction/SOI creation.
• Experience in 3DEXPERIENCE, DELMIA, or other PLM tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of Work Preparation: EBOM, MBOM, consumables consumption, routing definition, and work order creation.
• Awareness of PFMEA and knowledge of Control Plans.
• Basic Manufacturing Engineering (ME) knowledge.
• Experience in process planning and hands‑on proficiency in SAP.
• Basic knowledge of the aerospace industry, engineering drawing interpretation, and aerospace standards.
• Shop floor exposure is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Work Instruction / SOI preparation, preferably in 3DEXPERIENCE (or a similar application).
