Job summary

Tata Technologies seeks an MBOM Engineer for Pantnagar with 3–6 years of experience. You will work on CATIA assembly/design and plan manufacturing processes for bolted and welded assemblies.

You will coordinate MBOM/EBOM changes, perform PLM-related tasks, and document GD&T annotations for PMI information in MBOM stages.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience on CATIA assembly and part design workbench.
• 1+ years assembly process planning for bolted/welded assemblies using DELMIA/Creo.
• Experience with MBOM/EBOM in manufacturing.
• Experience in assembly operations and manufacturing assemblies.
• Exposure to PLM/PDM systems and change management.

Responsibilities

• Understand manufacturing/process planning requirements.
• Create manufacturing assemblies for Planning/Manufacturing in DELMIA V5 or Creo.
• Handle MBOM/Manufacturing BoM through planning and simulation.
• Perform gap analysis between Engineering BoM & Manufacturing BoM.
• Manage Engineering change and PLM releases.
• Test DELMIA V5/Creo, document POC results.
• Prepare 2D drawings and 3D annotations (GD&T) for MBOM.

Job Description

• At least 2+ year of experience on CATIA assembly, part design workbench
• At least 1+ years of experience in assembly process planning for bolted, welded assemblies using tools like DELMIA or Creo
• Experience of restructure Engineering BoM (welds/bolds/fasteners/panels/brackets) between Manufacturing assembly operations
• Experience in authoring assembly operations and resulting manufacturing assemblies
• Knowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing BoM change management
• Exposure to EBOM, MBOM, BIW, Welded & Bolted Assemblies in automobile domain good to have.
• Experience in Assembly Revise, Check-In, Check-Out with any PLM/PDM system good to have
• Excellent adoption of innovation, teamwork & communication
• Customer interfacing/communication/documentation

• Responsible for Engineering change management and systematic release thru PLM
• Testing of DELMIA V5/Creo functionalities, POC execution and documentation
• Responsible to prepare 2D Drawing and 3D annotation, GD&T for PMI information for MBOM stage assembly

• Primarily Skill : Knowledge of CATIA/DELMIA V5, PLM (TCUA/TCE), Creo
• Secondary Skill : Knowledge of DELMIA V6
• Must have : Basic Knowledge about EBOM & MBOM
• Preferred to have : Exposure to 2D Drawing and 3D annotation, GD&T
