Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to design MBOM from EBOM and create BOPs for optimized shop-floor workflows. You will build process trees, assign workstations, and generate clear work instructions for production lines.

You will analyze cycle times, perform time/motion studies, and improve layouts with digital tools while ensuring safety standards and cross-functional collaboration across IT, Product Development, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial / Automotive Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Basic understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (assembly/powertrain).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models (GD&T knowledge preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration ability.
• Exposure to EBOM–MBOM transformation and BOP creation (preferred).
• Familiarity with PFMEA and control plans (preferred).
• Exposure to electrified powertrain manufacturing (preferred).
• Experience in plant launch or equipment commissioning (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support system testing (UAT) and digital tool enhancements.
• Maintain manufacturing data in enterprise systems.
• Define technical requirements for tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Support supplier interactions, technical reviews, and equipment buy-off.
• Use virtual manufacturing tools for layout validation and ergonomics.
• Support shop-floor installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
• Ensure compliance with safety and ergonomic standards.
