Job summary

Soliflex Packaging Pvt Ltd. in Tumakuru requires a seasoned Materials Movement Executive to manage receipt, tagging, and storage of fabric in the Raw Material Depot.

You will retrieve and issue fabric to units for cutting and lamination, monitor consumption, and re-store unused stock. You will also handle daily waste clearance to RP or job workers, optimize daily transport to reduce costs, and perform stock audits with accurate records across the value chain.

Qualifications

• Graduates with 4+ years of experience in managing a similar role from a reputed company.
• Role based out of Tumkuru; proximity to the area is preferred.
• Experience in Warehouse Operations and Material Movement is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive fabric from Production and store in Raw Material Depot.
• Retrieve and issue fabric to respective units for cutting/lamination.
• Check fabric consumption and re-store unused fabric; tag for future use.
• Clear daily manufacturing waste to Re-Processing Plant or Job Worker.
• Optimize vehicle and goods movement daily to keep costs low.
• Ensure safety of goods and periodic stock audits.
• Identify non-moving fabrics and reassign to RP.
• Maintain accurate records across the value chain.

Job description

Materials Movement Executive

1. The executive is responsible for receipt of fabric from Production, Tagging and storing in the Raw Material Depot. (RMD)

2. He is responsible for the Retrieval, & issue of fabric to the respective unit for cutting / lamination.

3. Check for fabric consumption and re-store the unused fabric, after tagging for further use.

4. He is also responsible for daily clearance of manufacturing & process waste to the Re-Processing Plant (RP) or to the Job Worker.

5. Optimize Vehicle & Goods movement on a daily basis to keep the overall cost low.

6. Safety of Goods & periodic audit of fabric stock

7. Identifying & Declaring non-moving fabrics and assign them to RP

8. Maintain accurate records across the value chain
