Job summary

PGR Infra Projects is seeking a procurement and logistics professional to manage material planning, vendor negotiation, and inventory control at construction sites. The role entails coordinating procurement activities, ensuring timely material delivery, and maintaining accurate inventory records to prevent delays.

The ideal candidate has a background in supply chain, civil engineering, or business administration with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in construction logistics and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, civil engineering, or business administration.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in construction logistics, procurement, or inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Estimate material needs from project blueprints and schedules; find and choose reliable vendors; negotiate prices, delivery dates, and contracts.
• Plan safe storage and yard layouts on the worksite; supervise unloading and receiving of goods; check deliveries for damage, overages, or shortages; protect sensitive items from weather or theft.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent delays or excess inventory; track daily material usage to stop waste and theft; run regular inventory counts and audits.

Role & responsibilities:

Planning and Procurement

• Estimate material needs from project blueprints and schedules.

• Create purchase orders and track orders.

Site Logistics and Storage

• Plan safe storage and yard layouts on the worksite.
• Supervise unloading and receiving of goods.

Inventory and Cost Control

• Monitor stock levels to prevent delays or excess inventory.
