Job summary

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited is seeking a Material Management Executive (Shipping) at HKIA to lead logistics operations, monitor SOPs and KPIs, and support export/import activities.

The role requires at least 2 years experience, strong English and Chinese, good PC skills, and knowledge of DG shipments IATA/IMDG. This is a full-time on-site position with a global MRO provider focused on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience for Higher Diploma / Degree holder in relevant disciplines or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Good PC skills with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Strong Supply chain and Logistics knowledge.
• Strong negotiation and supervisory skills.
• Strong analytical mind and numerical sense.
• Certificate of IATA / IMDG DG Regulation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate staff for continuous improvement
• Assist in developing standard operation procedure (SOP) and key performance indicators (KPI)
• Ensure all invoices are issued accurately as per the quotations
• Monitor the compliance of SOP and performance of KPI defined
• Provide guidance and coaching to Assistant Material Management Executive, Shipping
• Assist export/import operations and documentations under minimal supervision
• Ensure all invoices are issued accurately as per the quotations
• Handle DG shipment in accordance with Transportation of Dangerous Good by Air (IATA) & Transportation of Dangerous Good by Sea (IMDG)
• Monitor the compliance of SOP and performance of KPI defined.
• Assist in project preparation and analysis (e.g. logistics service providers tendering)
