Job summary

Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Cabin Maintenance professional in Bhubaneswar to advise on maintenance planning and defect rectification. You will lead safety procedures, coordinate with production, and liaise with customers on cabin deferral defects.

The role requires 7+ years in aircraft maintenance, 2+ years in senior cabin roles, and proficiency in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning or advisory.
• 2+ years as Senior Cabin Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience with cabin deferred defects management is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Higher Diploma or engineering degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper safety procedures and best practices in cabin deferral defect handling.
• Ensure compliance of regulatory requirements, standard procedures, and the highest safety standards.
• Provide technical recommendations on cabin defect rectification.
• Plan, manage, prepare, and issue work package of cabin deferred defects for line and base maintenance activities, based on airline operations, aircraft time available, complexity of work and availability of required resources such as facilities, tooling, materials, and manpower.
• Coordinate plans for maintenance work packages with the production team to ensure successful completion.
• Coordinate with material management team to assure that the parts supply is compatible with the work package provided.
• Liaise and update with customers on all cabin deferral defects.
• Drive continuous improvement in operations.

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of experience of technical advisory / planning / production experience on aircraft maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience as Senior Cabin Maintenance Mechanic/Senior Cabin Technical Associate or equivalent.
• Working experience on cabin deferred defects management will be an advantage.
• Familiar with CX Ultramain, AMOS, Net-line Ops and TDM system will be an advantage.
• If working experience less than 7 years, Senior Cabin Technical Associate as a consideration.
• Completed HKCEE/HKDSE or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
• Candidate with a Higher Diploma or above in Engineering discipline will be an advantage.
